Iceland is a country of extreme geological contrasts. Widely known as “The Land of Fire and Ice,” it is home to some of the largest glaciers in Europe, and some of the world’s most active volcanoes. It's also the land of light and darkness. Long summer days with near 24-hours of sunshine are offset by short winter days with only a few hours of daylight.

Travel with us aboard Holland America for the trip of a lifetime! We start our adventure in Copenhagen, Denmark. Once we have all gathered and had a goodnight’s rest, we board the Nieuw Statendam.

On our two-week cruise we will visit Akureyri, Isafjordur, Reykjavik & Djupivogur, Iceland ~ Bergen & Alesund, Norway ~ Inverness and Edinburgh, Scotland. How exciting!
